Dispute Resolution is a process to assist parties in resolving a disagreement. On occasion, Yukon First Nations, Government or affected independent parties may not agree on how the Yukon First Nation Final Agreements are administered, interpreted and implemented. Should issues of dispute arise, the dispute resolution process may be used to settle the disagreement.

The Dispute Resolution Board administers a two-stage process. The first stage is mediation. If the mediation process does not lead the parties to a resolution of their dispute, the matter might be referred to binding arbitration to resolve the dispute.
